Composers from the edge of madness
An exhibit about classical composers who suffered from mental disabilities and the thin line separating madness and genius.
The exhibition presents the life stories of selected classical composers with mental health problems. It was initiated in 2012 by mental health NGOs to highlight that people with mental health problems can be productive, creative and innovative. The exhibition was shown in Ljubljana and inspired the creation of the Museum of Madness. The Ozara Association donated the exhibition to the Museum of Madness as part of its permanent collection.
