Mandatory Path to Deinstitutionalization - Marco Cavallo
With this project, we are continuing the 2024 campaign Kakšna norišnica (What a Madhouse). Together with our Croatian partner Kultura nova, we will exchange good practices for working with different users in the field of human rights and community inclusion. We have chosen the sculpture of the blue horse Marco Cavallo as our symbol.
The project continues the Museum of Madness's 2024 campaign "What a Madhouse," which aims to support deinstitutionalisation and raise awareness of the rights of people in total institutions. In June 2025, the project will join the journey of Marco Cavallo's blue horse sculpture, which will travel to key locations in Slovenia, accompanied by a cultural programme featuring theatre, cinema, and discussions.
The Croatian non-governmental organisation Kultura nova is joining the journey with the project, through which the Museum of Madness will exchange experiences on the inclusion of users in cultural programmes.
